DECATUR -- Â鶹ӳÏñ´«Ã½hb University was recently featured in several Central Illinois media stories for its assistance to workers affected by layoffs at Akorn Pharmaceuticals facilities in Decatur.
Those affected by the closures were invited by Â鶹ӳÏñ´«Ã½hb to attend held at the University Commons. It is estimated more than 150 Akorn employees came to campus to take in the event and explore their employment opportunities.
More than 50 Central Illinois employers were on hand, offering job and internship positions to Â鶹ӳÏñ´«Ã½hb students, alumni and Akorn employees.
